Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our auto glass, residential glass, commercial glass, and warranty services.
Auto Glass Services
If the damage is a small chip (about the size of a quarter or smaller) or a crack under 6 inches, it can usually be repaired. Larger cracks, damage in the driver's line of sight, or damage near the edges of the windshield typically require a full replacement. Our technicians will inspect and recommend the best option.
Most windshield chip repairs can be completed in about 30 minutes. Windshield replacements typically take around 60 minutes, though we recommend waiting at least one hour after replacement before driving your vehicle.
Yes. We offer mobile auto glass service throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Our technicians come to your home, office, or any convenient location with everything needed to complete the job.
Windshield repair restores structural integrity and prevents further damage. While repairs are very effective, a small blemish may remain at the point of impact. This is normal and does not affect the performance of the glass.
Yes. We carefully remove any inspection stickers, registration tags, or toll tags from your old windshield and re-apply them to the new glass when legally permitted.
We use high-quality Original Equipment Equivalent (OEE) glass that meets or exceeds OEM specifications. If your vehicle requires OEM glass or you prefer it, let us know and we'll accommodate your request.
Yes. We can often service multiple vehicles in a single appointment, depending on part availability and scheduling. This is especially convenient for fleet customers.
ADAS Calibration
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) like lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, and collision avoidance rely on a camera mounted to the windshield. After a windshield replacement, this camera must be recalibrated to factory specifications to ensure those safety systems function correctly.
Calibration is an additional service and will be quoted separately. Not every vehicle requires calibration — our team will check your vehicle's specifications and let you know if it's needed.
Static calibration uses a specialized target placed in front of the vehicle in a controlled environment. Dynamic calibration requires driving the vehicle at a set speed on well-marked roads. The type required depends on your vehicle's make and model.
Coverage varies by policy. Many comprehensive auto insurance policies do cover calibration as part of a windshield replacement claim. We can help verify your coverage and manage the claim process.

Warranty
We offer a lifetime warranty on all workmanship for as long as you own your vehicle or remain in your home. If you experience any issue related to our installation — such as leaks, wind noise, or defects in workmanship — we'll make it right at no charge.
The warranty covers defects in our workmanship and the materials we install. It does not cover new damage from road debris, accidents, vandalism, or other external causes.
Simply call us at (972) 669-0951 or visit our shop. We'll inspect the issue and take care of it promptly. Please bring your original service receipt if possible.
Our auto glass warranty is valid for the original vehicle owner. For residential and commercial installations, the warranty is tied to the property and does not transfer with sale of the property.
